Hello, I'm Sandy Bowles and I teach History and Bible at VCS. I graduated from Life Pacific College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Leadership & Ministry. Youth ministry has been a part of my life for over 30 years - thirteen of those years serving in Middle School Ministry of the Desert Vineyard. Since 2010,
I have worked at the Desert Vineyard Christian School as the Middle School Campus Pastor teaching their weekly chapels. I also enjoy serving as a Community Pastor at the Palmdale Vineyard church plant.
Beyond ministry, I have also been employed for over a decade as a Graphic Artist and Art Director, with experience in digital video, photography, web design and fine art. I have taught Art Appreciation, Yearbook, and Cinema as electives to the Middle School students throughout the years.
"Whether it's be years of shepherding youth or sitting behind a computer screen, God continues to amaze me how he can be seen in the colors and shapes of artistic work or in the ear piercing screams of a middle school student! No matter what the age of a young person, the culture of a student is constantly changing and challenging their belief system. It's our job, as adults in their lives, to guide them through the journey of decisions with Godly wisdom and understanding hearts."
